ABOUT US

Panda Sportswear is a South African Family run business with an Italian heritage.

Founded in 1991 by Roberto Gnudi, an enthusiastic cyclist himself, the company started in his father’s garage in Houghton with only two seamstresses and four sewing machines, producing solely plain black bibs.

As the business and infrastructure progressed, Roberto was then able to produce a wider variety customizable garments.

Today Panda sportswear is still going strong and is settled in the South of Johannesburg, Midvaal area.

We primarily use materials imported from Italy, complimented with a mix of locally sourced South African materials used to manufacture our Custom Cycling apparel. The garments are all sewn and sublimated on site. The Italian materials that we use are predominantly outsourced from Eco-Friendly Carvico and our chamois from Dolomiti pads.

Over the years we have also incorporated other sports clothing, such as running and triathlon attire. Our flexibility and familiarity with the custom manufacturing process ensures that from design concept to delivery, you will get excellent service and refined product at a competitive price.
